Kies voor gebruiksgemak met walking floors

Walking floor trailers zien er net hetzelfde uit als normale vrachtwagens. Toch maken ze ons leven net ietsje makkelijker. De hydraulisch aangedreven vloer zorgt er namelijk voor dat je goederen naar buiten geduwd worden zonder iemands tussenkomst. Handig, toch?

Hoe werken walking floors?

De vloer zal steeds volledig naar de achterkant van de vrachtwagen bewegen. Zo schuift de vracht op naar buiten. Hierna gaan delen van de vloer in stukken terug naar achteren. Doordat deze beweging niet simultaan gebeurt, blijft de vracht op dat moment liggen. Deze beweging wordt herhaald tot de vracht volledig naar buiten is gewerkt. Op die manier kan het laden en lossen sneller gebeuren en vergt het minder fysieke inspanning.

Waarvoor zijn trailers met walking floor geschikt?

Vrachtwagens met walking floors zijn voornamelijk geschikt om volumineuze goederen met een laag soortelijk gewicht (bijvoorbeeld compost) en verpakte goederen op pallet of in big bags in grote hoeveelheden te vervoeren. Denk hierbij enerzijds aan lichte, volumineuze zaken zoals huisvuil, zagemeel en hooi, anderzijds aan goederen gestapeld op paletten of in big bags. We hebben opleggers met een laadruimte tot 92 kuub om naast een veilig transport, ook een zo groot mogelijk ladingsvermogen te kunnen garanderen.
