Walking floor trailers look exactly the same as normal trucks. Still, they make our lives just that little easier, as their hydraulically powered floors push your goods out without human intervention. Handy, right?

How do walking floors work?

The floor moves all the way to the back of the truck, carrying your freight with it. Next, specific parts of the floor return to their original position. As this movement is not simultaneous with the rest of the floor, your freight stays exactly where it is. These movements are repeated until your freight has fully exited the truck. As you can see, aside from making loading and unloading much quicker, walking floors also require much less physical effort.

What can walking floor trailers be used for?

Walking floor trucks are mainly used to transport bulky, low-density goods (such as compost) or large quantities of packaged goods on pallets or in big bags. Examples include light, bulky materials such as domestic waste, sawdust and hay, or goods stacked on pallets or in big bags. Our semi-trailers have cargo space of up to 92 m³, meaning we can guarantee a high load capacity as well as safe transport.
